Are the Paris Olympics an attempt to impose a new kind of culture upon the world? The Woke Olympics tried serving hungry athletes fake protein, so some teams decided to bring in their own cooks to fuel their muscles.
But the greatest shock came when people with X and Y chromosomes were allowed to complete against women, in women's boxing and wrestling matches, brutally damaging the women, and denying them rightful victories.
This won't win support for more inclusion. The world, even the UN rapporteur for women's rights, responded with indignation. However, the people pushing for this are trying to normalize the abnormal.
But why? What's the end goal? What the French organizers won't explain, the prison diaries of an Italian far-left intellectual can.
Antonio Gramsci was a literally crooked man, born with a deformed spine. In his early years, medical authorities attempted to straighten him out by suspending his back in a harness. It didn't work, and Gramsci spent the rest of his life hating the doctors.
Once imprisoned for his questionable politics, because, surprise, surprise, he turned out to be a communist, Gramsci coined the now famous concept of "cultural hegemony". Cultural hegemony is the idea that ruling classes impose a culture onto the people that benefits the rich, through their control of the media, police, and education.
Yes, we can see truth in that. We see how capitalism has created a lot of artificial culture that scams people out of their personal wealth. But what Gramsci overlooked, is that culture is also born of a people. Culture, rather than being the singular product of predatory elites, is actually a two-way communication between a people and its rulers.
Gramsci's theory of cultural hegemony is then falsifiable. It isn't true that culture is only imposed onto a people. Ruling classes can only hijack a people's culture insofar it doesn't attack their human nature, for, otherwise, people would revolt. A parasite that seeks to live off of a host must not kill the host.
The Soviet Communists, for example, found out they couldn't erase people's religious feelings, and today, Russia is a Christian nation once again, and many of its people follow God. If the most aggressive totalitarians in human history couldn't erase religion, then what makes the Woke Brigade of the West think they can tamper with the biological basis for gender and sex?
Wokeness tries to make crooked what is healthy, to undermine the people's physical and mental health in the process.
A globalist class wants to turn humanity into a termite colony, stripping ordinary people of their reproductive functions, and erasing the male sex, but not before remaking women into sterile worker drones.
A large part of the confusion comes from swapping cause for consequence. If far-left feminists say they reject the idea of motherhood as something oppressive, it's because they unconsciously feel that the economic pressure is too high and housing too unaffordable, so they have no choice but to hate the thing they would otherwise naturally desire.
The idea of nature itself, of course, then comes under attack. Far-left intellectuals such as Gramsci would argue there is nothing natural about the world, as though everything were a mere fictional construct.
But natural normalcy does exist. It is not the average of all conditions, but rather the base condition that remains viable when all others wither and die. Natural normality is observed in mammalian species who all have two sexes, and whose females all nurse their young. Rare deviations from this norm confirm the norm.
The human condition is no different from this principle. We exist as we are because all other variations either didn't evolve further or died in stillbirth. Nature, like a Spartan mother, has cast out the defects. We must, therefore, embrace human normalcy and avoid tampering with it.
The Woke Olympics will not, and cannot, succeed in altering what Nature has already perfected.
It's time to quit playing God.
