Technocracy may have been a fine idea when people were still smart and preppy in the 1950s, but today’s Western demographics can’t all cope with the machinery we’re required to interface with. I, for one, severely dislike the hotel self-check-in options because it is such a dehumanizing, unwelcoming experience. I expect to be greeted by a human being.
