Anonymous commenters under my TikTok videos frequently recommend that I should watch a documentary titled Europa: The Last Battle. It’s propaganda. I saw the first hour of this 12-hear film many years ago. And I dismissed it as unhelpful. Is it trying to manifest that Europeans should have their “last battle” before they are wiped out?
On an emotional level, I have never supported Neo-Nazism, though I can appreciate the Third Reich’s art and architecture, especially its films such as The Prodigal Son (Der Verlorene Sohn) featuring Luis Trenker. Aside from the aesthetics, why would anyone alive today want to LARP (live-action role-play) as a member of an extinct German political movement? Or as a Roman soldier?
