Make War, Not Love
The Hippies Who Railed against Christian Goodness Became the World's Most Intrusive Moralists
The 1960s Hippie doctrine of ‘make love, not war’ was supposed to be the cure for fascism. Sexual repression, they said, made men fascist. If society allowed fascist men to engage in group sex or gay activities, they’d become liberals, too.
That was the idea. What happened next was the rise of a moral totalitarianism never seen before.
As director Paul Verhoeven remarked about the famous ‘shower scene’ in Starship Troopers (1997), leftists believe that right-wingers (conservatives, fascists, and Nazis included) somehow “don’t have libido”. They mean to say that men and women of the right are sexually repressed.
It was German communist thinker Wilhelm Reich who elaborated on Sigmund Freud’s concept of sexual repression, by tying it to politics. For these and other strange ideas, the German communist party expelled Reich from their ranks, but his ideas went on to live richly in the fantasy world of leftist liberals.
During the post-war period, the hippies of the 1960s, followed by the feminists of the 1970s, ran with this idea of “doing away with fascism forever” by deconstructing the supposedly restrictive Christian morality. The idea was to slowly, gradually remove society’s moral constraints (to avoid backlash) and get people used to their new sexual liberties.
These sexual liberties included sex before marriage, teenage pregnancies, single moms, interracial sexology, pornography, casual sex, group sex, the whole range of fetishes, TV and internet porn, and every possible gay, trans or gender-confused kink.
And so, here we are today, in the gay, trans Woke world of 2025, where grown men and women pretend they don’t know what gender they are anymore, despite newborn babies still flawlessly identifying mom and dad as “mama” and “papa”.
But guess what happened? Young men today are already railing against their porn addictions by becoming far right. It is now counter-culture to marry and settle down early.
Because it turns out that right-wingers don’t low libido at all.
Rather, right-wing men have a lot more libido, and a lot more testosterone. The difference with leftist men is that right-wing men tend to spend a lot more of their libido on active lifestyles, including sports, work, and healthy heterosexual sex activity.
Indeed, right-wingers, per many reports, have more sex, and with more different partners during their lifetimes—because they are more sexually attractive people.
The leftist obsession with sex is, and always has been, a projection of their own unmet desires. One might argue that the leftist desire for an oversexed society stems from a desire to use sex as a way of gaining control over society (the ultimate dream of sex-starved people is to have the sexual power they are lacking).
And this brings me to my main point: The liberals who once set out to deconstruct Christian morality have replaced it with an even more rigid morality of their own. While leftists opened up Pandora’s box of sexual hyperconduct, they constructed, at the same time, a Panopticon of political repression.
If Christianity said: don’t have sex before marriage, leftism said: have sex before marriage but remember it’s racist to deport illegals.
If Christianity said: don’t engage in degenerate sexual behavior, leftism said: be a degenerate but remember it’s fascist to close the borders.
If Christianity said: don’t be adulterous, then leftism said: be adulterous but remember you’re a Nazi if you don’t mix races.
The Christian sexual morality was replaced with a new political morality that criminalized a people’s right to national self-defense.
If Christianity denied us morally bad behavior, leftism now denies us politically “bad” behavior. The Christian Goodness that hippie liberals once railed against during their orgies was reborn in the form of Political Correctness.
But it is the same goodness that, in my view, poses a problem either way. People aren’t supposed to be good all the time, neither morally nor politically. It’s time, therefore, that men of the West break out of the bonds of this political correctness and allow themselves to be bad again.
Let us make war, not love, to our foreign enemies, to the migrants in our streets, to the criminals in government, to the soldiers at our gates, and to all those demographics that hate and despise us.
