Oh, I missed the comment on being dangerous.

Jordan Peterson is a liar and a fraud, so my advice is to not take anything he says seriously. I went and spoke to Jordan as soon as he turned up on the public square. Presumably he found out about me and refused to speak to me. Today he pretends he does not know who I am. You just have to look at his daughter to know who he is.

Now...

My grandfather fought the Japanese for the duration of WW2. He was an artilleryman. Basically shooting cannon shells at Japanese positions for three years in the hell on earth called South East Asia.

Both sides used fragmentation shells that burst in the air and sent red hot fragments spearing downwards to the ground in the hope of hitting enemy soldiers. Thousands of his mates bled out on the jungle floor in the three years he fought.

For three years he lived in the world where the next fragmentation shell might kill him just like they had killed men standing right next to him.

For reasons I only came to understand many years later, when I was 14, he confided in me his horrific experiences of the war. He used to sit with his back to the house so my grand mother could not see him crying and he got his stories out to me. It was hell for him to tell me his stories because I could see him reliving the horror of the moment as he recounted it.

One of the many things he said to me was words to this effect.

"Any fool can die for what he believes in. Many of my mates did. It is not the man who is willing to die for what he believes in that makes a difference in this world. It is the man who is willing to kill for what he believes in who makes the difference. That is what I did.

Peter, until you are willing to put a gun to your enemies forehead, right in front of you, and pull the trigger and blow his f-ing brains out? You will never make a difference in this world."

The man who makes a difference in the world is not the man who can kill but doesn't.

The man who makes a difference in the world is a man who can kill, and does.

This is why I have always taken the position that each man has the right to dispense justice as he sees fit, each man has the right to use force, up to and including deadly force, as he sees fit.

When you have a society with 5-10% of those men around? You would be amazed how polite other men are.

Hi Johannes,

my grandfather is the single greatest influence on my life. He shaped me more than any other man, even my father. It was my grandfather who put the steel in my spine.

When I was a boy there was another football team that just had the good fortune to have some boys born in their area that were better than us. In our town you had to play for your local team.

Anyway, I captained my team at 10, and 12 and we lost to this same team in each of the grand finals. We were beaten by the same group of boys when I was 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13.

I was captain of my team again at 14 and I trained my guys so hard all year that many of them actually hated me.

"It's ok to come second".

"We have never beaten Kooringal and we never will. They just have better players."

I was having none of it. I wanted a premiership medal and this was our year. We trained in heavy rain and slush and howling winds and even once in a lighting storm when even our coach went for cover. I ran my team up and down the field with lighting flashing across the sky and deriving rain. They had good reason to hate me.

On the big day my grandfather came to watch. He even asked if he may speak to my team before the game. He told my team mates that win or lose it is how you play the game, and the way to play the game was as hard you can. Hit them hard. This is your year he said to us.

Well? It was the hardest and toughest football game you ever saw between a bunch of 14 year old boys. A few teeth were lost and a there were plenty of cuts and scraps during the game. The other team had the better players. And we were playing on sheer heart and courage.

In the end we won the game, literally, on the last kick of the game and the bounce of the ball. It could have gone either way to the last 5 seconds.

If the siren had gone 10 seconds earlier we would have lost. My grand father came out on the field jumping and dancing and yelling "that's my grandson!" He held up my hand and shouted at anyone who would listen "that's my grandson what won this game!"

I was never so proud of my efforts. My team mates loved me and many lied and said "I never had any doubts we would win!" The other team shook our hands very sportingly. This was the first time we had beaten them in 5 years. To one they congratulated me on leading my team to a fair and square victory over them and they all said they were looking forward to the rematch next year.

When I got home that night at dinner I asked my father why he had chosen not to come to my grand final as captain of my team. He simply said: "I thought you would lose". I was so hurt I went to my room and cried.

The next year they thrashed us in the grand final. And the year after that, when I was 16, I had my back injury and I could not play all year. I had collapsed in pain at the first training session of the year and never even got on the training field let alone into a game all year.

That grand final was played in a howling thunderstorm the like of which you have rarely seen. I was on the sidelines cheering my team on. Just seconds before the siren one of our guys took a mark. And the siren went. In our game if you take a mark before the final siren you get to have your kick.

Trevor was 50 meters from the goal and he was the worst kick in our team in terms of direction, but one of the longest kicks. He was actually a soccer player and he could get the ball to torpedo and to fly a long way, but where it would go was anyones guess as it is terribly hard to be accurate with those sorts of kicks and he was the worst one in the team at that.

But by some miracle he kicked the goal and we won. Our captain made a speech in which he included me and said that all those nights running up and down the field in the driving rain that I made them do two years earlier were the difference that made the difference. I was given three cheers for how I led my team when I could play and everyone was very sad for me that I could not be on the field that day.

So yes. My grand father came to my grand final winning game, the only one I led as a lad, while my own father chose not to come because he thought I would lose. It was my play that day that had him choose me as his heir to his legacy. It was my play that day that convinced him I was the one he should tell his war experiences to and to ask me that if it ever came to it would promise to defend the children of my land from any enemies foreign or domestic.

Grandfathers are so important to boys. They really are.

Yeah, I don't trust Peterson anymore since he switched sides. He used to be a good psychologist 10 years ago.

Peter Andrew Nolan's avatar

I disagree. I understand the human condition far better than Jordan does. He knows very little about the human condition. He is trained in "university psychology" as I would put it. He had a "license" from the government to practice.

One time, when I was at a "Tuesday Night" end of class for the Landmark Forum as an assistant I noticed a woman crying by herself in a quiet area. There were over 500 people in the ball room of a large hotel in Sydney. So it was a little unusual for someone to find a quiet spot to cry. Us assistants wore coloured badges with our names on it.

I told her that I was an assistant and asked if I may be of service since she was crying. She asked me if I had done the class she had just done and I confirmed that I had done the whole series and I was here to assist anyone who was needing assistance.

She thanked me and asked if she may share her thoughts with me. She was about 30 and I was 33 at the time. This was 1997. I told her yes, she was welcome to share her thoughts and I was under oath to keep what she said confidential.

She said that just 6 months earlier she had completed her PhD in Psychology at Sydney University and that she had learned more about the human condition in the last three days than she had at university in the last 6 years she had taken to complete her PhD. She asked if I knew that. I said yes, that what we taught in these three day was much more than she would learn in an University PhD. I had done some psychology and philosophy classes at University so I knew what was in the PhD curriculums.

She said she was crying because of the loss she now understood she had suffered. And I comforted her that yes, indeed, she had spent a great deal of time and money trying to learn things that were much more easily, and cheaply, learned elsewhere. I sympathised with her position and we talked for a while.

Once she had stopped crying and had composed herself just a little I asked if I may say something that would both upset her and very likely inspire her. She laughed and said that if I could say anything that would help her over come her grief and sense of loss I would be most welcome.

I told her that she really should spend some days or weeks coming to terms with her loss, after all, it was significant and not to be treated lightly. And then I said that there is something she does not understand that may inspire her and have her look forward with hope. She asked me what this was.

Then I told her that what she had learned in the last three days was only about 5% of what was taught in the full series. I told her that, in fact, the summary of the whole three days is done in 15 minutes at the start of the Advance Class. And the rest of the 4 days of the Advanced Class is "The Forum for Adults" where as what she had just done we referred to as "The Forum For Children".

She looked at me in wonder and asked "But how can that be?" I said to her, not only that, but if you do the Advanced Class and then the Self Expression and Leadership Program in the leadership program she will get to put all that she has learned into action in her life. I told her that in my SELP I got the real results from this program.

She asked me what I had gotten out of the forum. I told her that on the saturday night of my forum my wife and I had a HUGE fight. She had thrown glasses and plates at me in our hotel room and smashed many glass items. I had to give the hotel AUD200 for cleaning fees, I felt it only fair.

I told her that I had called my wife all sorts of names and decided I could no longer tolerate her and decided to divorce her on the Saturday night of our forum because she was such a vile bitch. She could not believe my description of the Saturday night at the hotel.

Then, I said, at the final break on the Sunday night, just before guests were allowed in, Jennifer came to me and asked me to marry her again. I swore at her and was very impolite but she asked again, and again, and again. I told her that all up Jennifer asked me six times if I would please marry her again with more than 100 people looking on by the time she had asked for the sixth time.

I changed my mind and said yes, and since we have two small children, their world is very much better than it was going to be on the Saturday night.

She simply looked at me and said "Oh my God".

I said yes, Jennifer finally got it through her thick skull that she had been a vile, horrible abusive wife and she promised to do better. So I gave her another chance for the sake of the children.

We talked some more and she asked me how she signs up for the Advanced Class and so I took her over to register and told her I would likely see her there at some time because I liked to drop into the classes.

So no. I do not value "university trained psychologists" any more than a good barman. Indeed, I think you would get better life advice from a barman than Jordan Peterson.

Hi Johannes, just in case you are interested, these ideas of Jung and the shadow etc are all very well covered in the Landmark Education training series. I did it in the 90s so it's pretty different today than it was then. We suppress our traumas as children because that's what children do. But the traumas don't go away. They remain in the subconscious and they influence our lives to lesser or greater extent.

The most striking example I have seen was a woman in her 70s. She had the fear of going outside all her life and she never knew why. She could never have job. When she had children she could not go outside to play with them. He had led a very limited life. It was all she could do to come to the class. I think it was one of her daughters who managed to get her into the class.

Anyway, during the class she volunteered and agreed to investigate why it might be she had this fear all her life. To cut the story short she was walking to the shops with her mother one day as a little girl. She said it must have been around her 4th birthday because autumn was coming and it was a little cooler as she could recall.

As they walked along, and this would be in the 1920s in country Australia, she saw a dead bird on the side of the road. She didn't understand what it was so she asked her mother about it. She did not understand animals died. So her mother took the opportunity to stop and show her the dead bird and explain to her that animals have lives and they live their lives and it is Gods Plan that one day their lives end and they go to bird heaven to be with God. Their body remains behind but the bird goes to bird heaven.

And she said she talked to her mother and said that she could not understand this because birds fly in the sky. How come the bird is on the ground but not walking? So her mother explained that the bird was likely taken to bird heaven as it flew and once the bird spirit was gone the birds body came back to the ground.

In her little 3-4 year old mind she thought this over and came to the conclusion that when the birds spirit went to bird heaven the bird fell from the sky. This then embedded into her mind that it's possible that as she was walking outside a dead bird might fall on her head.

So, as a little girl, she became afraid of going outside but she did not know why and no one could get out of her that she was afraid a dead bird may fall on her head.

He daughter hugged her and they both cried a lot when she realised this. So what the daughter did next was take her mother outside and all 100+ of us followed her outside. She very, very warily, very, very slowly made her way out on to the street while looking up for the "dead bird that might fall on her head". Her daughter holding her every step of the way.

When she finally stood in the middle of the street and realised that her fear of going outside was the "dead bird" and that she could now get over it she had tears of both joy and loss. She just started dancing spontaneously in the street she was so happy. Later it was almost impossible for her daughter to bring her back into the class. She wanted to go outside of course.

This became legend in Landmark. It became known as "The Dead Bird Story" and "doing the dead bird" became a thing.

Lastly, on the question of having a son. Don't bother. It's a waste of time. If you would like? I will give you the contact details of my alleged son. You are welcome to go and talk to him and to see why having a son is a really stupid thing for a man to do.

Peter Andrew Nolan's avatar

Hi Johannes,

just in case you are interested. Your feeling that no one loves you is correct. No one loves you.

No one loved you. No one loves you. No one will ever love you.

You are a man. That is the fate of us men and boys. No one loves us.

We are told we are loved only to make us into voluntary slaves. Not even my own father or mother loved me despite telling me they did.

In fact, when I was doing the Landmark Forum the first time in February 1996 the forum leader did an introduction about how the three days were going to go. And then she asked for a volunteer to stand up and start a conversation about what they wanted to get out of the forum.

Me, being me, was the first to have my hand up and everyone else was "concerned" and kept their hands down and so I was chosen. I was asked to talk about what I wanted to get out of the forum.

It was quite a long conversation, about 30 minutes, but you could have heard a pin drop the whole time. I told the forum leader my wife does not love me. She treats me horribly and with utter disdain and dis-respect. I explained that I had sincerely fallen in love with her in 1984 and I wanted her to be the same sort of wife my mother was to my father.

I explained that I had decided to have children with Jennifer because I was certain that she was the perfect woman for me. Only problem was that as soon as she had her quota of children she completely transformed into the hate filled shrew she was today.

People were shocked a man would call his wife a hate-filled shrew who was abusive and dis-respectful. Jennifer argued that she did love me so I gave some examples of her behaviour that shocked the 100+ other attendees. You know how it is forbidden for any husband to criticise his wife, yet here I was, publicly condemning her under the agreement all that was said was confidential to the group. People, especially the women, could not believe what I was saying.

Anyway, all the women came to me and told me that my wife loved me and I just could not accept it because I was being "unloved" and "unlovable". The women have to sell us the lie of "a womans love" or they can not tame the man into being their willing slave. And because all women do this it "sounds true" because it's hard to believe there is a universal conspiracy among women to lie to men to tell them they love them to get what they want out of the man. But there is.

Consider this.

During the plan-demic I could not go jogging as I normally do. I have a bad back and I need the exercise. I was also broke so I could not buy a treadmill. I only had an exercise bike. So I had very back pain.

To get to sleep I started drinking vodka during the week. My usual practice is just to have a couple of vodkas on a friday night and watch an old movie and relax. But to kill the pain and get some sleep I knew a few vodkas would do the trick.

I did this for nearly 6 months and it did do the trick. I was able to get sleep and work from home and all was good. Or so I thought. When I started jogging again and my back was recovering I found I could not stop the vodka.

I tested myself. I went to the supermarket and stood in front of the alchol display and said to myself. "I will not buy vodka". Yet I bought some vodka.

So I called a friend of mine who was a Landmark graduate and also a practicing medical doctor. I mean done her degree, done her residency, and now practicing as a medical doctor in a large hospital. Not an "intern" or inexperienced woman doctor. Someone who has done all the Landmark Education programs and a 5 year experienced doctor post internship. A woman who, literally, has the lives of her patients in her hands.

I explained to her I had no money to pay her but would she be so kind as to counsel me for my issue with vodka. She totally understood as she now had many patients with addiction issues following on from the lockdown. An issue with vodka was rather mild compared to cases she was tending to every day. And I would not take up a bed so even better.

She consulted with one of her colleagues and drew up a counselling plan for me. We were to have 12 sessions, once per week, where we would talk about "issues". She set the target that I should go "dry" on January 1. I chose to go dry immediately and that was successful.

About week 6 she got to the topic of Jennifer, my ex wife. It is very normal in such counselling when a man is drinking too much to go over the divorce and how the man was treated.

Now, you also need to know I live under an assumed name. Almost no one here in Fiji knows my real name. My name is as innocuous as "John Smith". So this doctor friend of mine does not know my real name and does not know Jennifer, my ex wife.

We start this counselling session and I tell her that I am really not interested in talking about Jennifer. This is November 2020 and we divorced in November 2007. I had no wish to talk about her.

But she insisted and so I explained that I hate Jennifer, I despise Jennifer, I hold Jennifer in contempt and I wish her dead. She then starts to go on and on about how Jennifer really loved me for many years..blah, blah, blah.

I explained to her that Jennifer never loved me. I explained that she lied to me from day one and I was foolish enough to believe in the lies women like my mother told me. I told her I was well aware women are incapable of love and they only use the lie they love men to gain resources from the man.

She was "offended" at my statements. I pointed out to her that it does not matter if she is "offended by the truth" and I really don't care if she is "offended by the truth", she is a doctor, she knows women are incapable of love, and she can just get over it.

So then, and I am not kidding, she spends THREE HOURS, telling me how much Jennifer loved me. A woman she has never met. A woman she does not even know the last name of.

After THREE HOURS of this doctor telling me how much my wife loved me I put my foot down and told her to just shut up about Jennifer and move on.

What she did next is VERY revealing of women. Remember, this is a woman who claims that she became a doctor to help other people and save other peoples lives.

She said to me that I MUST believe her that Jennifer loved me and that if I refuse to believe her she will stop counselling me.

I pointed out that she does not know Jennifer and therefore has no basis to make the claim Jennifer ever loved me and that I "MUST" not do anything she says. I said to her face "if you will not help me unless I pretend to believe your lie that Jennifer loved me then so be it. You can make that decision."

And she did. She ended the video call and she has never, ever, spoken to me again.

How about that Johannes? A woman who is a 5 years post internship doctor, who says she became a doctor to help other people, who has done all the Landmark Education training, who has helped many people...refuses to help a man if he will not believe her baseless lie that his wife really did love him...you know...before destroying his life.

That is who women really are.

That is the best ever demonstration you are ever going to get that the lie of "the love of a woman" is a global conspiracy among women to help them get men to enslave themselves.

If a woman ever says: "I love you"? She lied, or is lying.

Period.
