Europe Doesn't Like White Immigrants Returning Home from the Colonies
Tons of people are coming to Europe for a ‘better life’, though they will likely be used as underpaid factory workers or cannon fodder in the ongoing war against Russia. But now groups of white people are getting ready to apply for asylum in their ancestral lands. How come? What drives these white home-comers?
Recently, a white man from South Africa and a white South African woman working in Iraq contacted me for help. They plan to cross from Africa to Europe across the Mediterranean Sea, taking the literal migrant boat.
How come white people from the (former) colonies, who are alleged to enjoy a systemic privilege, are willing to risk their lives to come back to Europe? In the case of the South Africans, the white Afrikaners, many no longer feel at home in ‘their’ South Africa—many dream of returning to the lands of their European forefathers. In most cases, that would be The Netherlands, besides Belgium, Germany, England, and France.
Since the end of Apartheid, the roles in South Africa have turned. Since 1994, the almost entirely black political system introduced well over one hundred race laws denying white people, for example, to apply for jobs in managerial functions. Stupid up, competency down. In short, there’s enough trouble in the colonies to justify a departure.
The Afrikaners who write me still have typical Dutch last names such as Pieterse, Niënkerk, or Smit. They speak Afrikaans, really a dialect of Dutch, and Afrikaans’ pronunciation is most similar to a specific dialect found in the region of Zoetermeer.
But why do so many Afrikaners want to travel to Europe illegally? The most frequent complaint heard in my videos’ comment sections is that white people of European descent have trouble acquiring the passports of their (ancestral) countries of origin. Dutch companies, for example, also refuse to hire people from outside of the EU, despite the alleged “urgent need for immigrants”.
Example: South African people whose grandparents all came from EU countries have no way of returning to Europe legally. Their passport applications are denied. Even people whose parents both came from The Netherlands can no longer apply for a passport. This group of people feels left behind by the Dutch government, dumped in a country where they are no longer welcome.
Before you say this is how it’s supposed to be, let me remind you of how countries like Turkey and Morocco think about this matter. Every individual born to Moroccan parents in The Netherlands receives a (dual) Moroccan passport at birth. And in most cases, Turkish people born in The Netherlands can also easily apply for a Turkish passport. This allows dual citizens to travel between two countries as they please.
European countries, on the other hand, prefer to cut ties with their blood relatives. Dutch people living outside of the EU holding a dual passport, but whose Dutch passport has expired, automatically cease to be Dutch. Their children won’t be allowed to return home. Isn’t that cruel?
When white Afrikaners hear the stories of a million refugees from Gaza, of tons of Ukrainians, and of millions of black Africans all being welcomed by Europe, perhaps they, too, may come to Europe, illegally.
The question is whether The Netherlands is prepared for a rising white wave of immigrants coming “back home”. In any case, the European Union would not be able to deny white immigrants on the basis of the color of their skin. Anyone now saying we ought to close the borders to white immigrants is, evidently, a racist.
