Chinese Propaganda Trying to Capture the Arctic

Actual Saami people of Lapland are majority White. Because their origins lie in Europe. They are a separate branch of White Europeans.

The “internet” is trying to make people believe that Northern Europe’s Saami people (the Lappish people of Scandinavia, Finland, and Russia), are somehow Asians. They’re not. They’re whiter than most white people, though some have mixed with Asiatic Inuit to create mixed offspring. But now, the existence of these mixed Saami is being used as an argument that “the Saami were always Asians”.

This is, at worst, AI slop, and at best, Chinese propaganda. Previously, a Chinese researcher claimed that Chinese people’s introverted nature comes from the Arctic region, since the Inuit (Eskimo) living there share similar behavioral traits as the East Asians do.

Mainstream publications rejected to publish that research’s findings, though it does represent mainstream thought among Chinese intellectuals. Does this mean ancient Arctic Asians were the ancestors of the Chinese? Most likely not. And if there were a connection, it just means a handful of East Asians passed their culture on to groups of Arctic Asians.
